1. Shisima is an abstract strategy 2 two-player board Game from Kenya. The game is played on an octagon board with each corner connected to opposite corners and one point at the center.
2. Each player starts with 3 pieces of its color on 3 adjacent points being empty. On the board here are 2 colors red & blue moving tokens available. One player has one color of pieces and the other player carries another color.
3. Players alternate turns to move one piece to either the center point if empty or, from one corner point to an adjacent empty corner point. Each player places their 3 pieces on three successive vacant points along the octagon’s perimeter. There must be a vacant point on both ends of each player’s set of pieces. This leaves three vacant points at the beginning of the game including the central point of the board.
4. Note Rules: 1. Players alternate their turns 2. Each turn a player may move one of their pieces to an adjacent vacant point on the board along a marked line. 3. The first player to make a “three-in-a-row” with one’s pieces along a diametrical line wins the game. 4. Repeating a position three times is a draw.
